Key Information for Registering Your Badger Face Lambs


**Breeders must be paid up members of the Society to register sheep**

  • Please post all registration forms to ~Dolpark, Rhos Y Garth, Llanilar, Aberystwyth. SY23 4SF
  • Registration Details and points of the breed are also printed annually in the Flock Book and found on our website.
  • Sheep (which must be from a registered Badger Face ram and ewe) can be registered as soon as you decide they are suitable, and before 30 November on the year of birth. 
  • Please note that the cut off for 2024 registrations is June 2025. 
  • The registration letter this year (2025) is N. 
  • Postage costs are at an all time high and any wrong addresses incur costs to the Society so please make sure your contact details are correct. 
  • Please remember that a £2 surcharge is now added to every pack of registration tags requested by members. Tags will not be issued until this is paid. 
  • £1 MUST be added for all cheques. 
  • If a breed tag is lost, contact the Registrations Secretary who will issue a substitute tag.
  • Registration forms with the necessary information are sent to members every year and can be found to print off on our website.
  • Please send your lamb registration forms & payments to the society Registration Officer.

  • Ewe lamb registration is £3 until the end of November and £6 after that date. 
  • Ram lamb registration is £20, (please check breed standards before registering) . 
  • Send registration forms to the Registration Secretary.
  • The decision to register is made by the breeder but if help is required (e.g. by new keepers) they should contact the Membership Secretary who will put them in touch with a more experienced member for help. 
  • The Flock Book and website has a list of current members. It also contains a list of all sheep registered since the last Flock Book in number order with the breeder’s details.
  • If all else fails, please read your Flock Book, or contact one of the society officers/contacts if still unclear, details found on website.
